Create Your Wallet

PolyPulse includes a self-custodial wallet that lets you trade on Polymarket directly from the extension.

Creating a New Wallet

1. Click the PolyPulse icon in your toolbar to open the popup
2. Click "Create Wallet"
3. Set a strong password (this encrypts your wallet locally)
4. Confirm your password
5. Your wallet is ready!

Important: Save Your Seed Phrase

After creating your wallet, immediately back up your seed phrase:

1. Go to Settings → Security
2. Enter your password to reveal the seed phrase
3. Write it down on paper and store it safely
4. Never share your seed phrase with anyone

DANGER

If you lose your password AND seed phrase, your funds are permanently lost. PolyPulse cannot recover them.

Importing an Existing Wallet

If you already have a wallet (e.g., from MetaMask):

1. Click the PolyPulse icon
2. Choose "Import Wallet"
3. Enter your 12-word seed phrase or private key
4. Set a password to encrypt it locally

How It Works

• Your private key is encrypted with AES-256-GCM
• The encryption key is derived from your password using PBKDF2 (100,000 iterations)
• Your encrypted wallet is stored in Chrome's local storage
• Nothing is sent to any server. Fully client-side
