Holding Rewards
Polymarket offers 4% APY holding rewards on eligible prediction market positions. PolyPulse automatically detects eligible positions and shows your estimated rewards.
How It Works
When you hold shares in eligible markets, you earn passive rewards at a rate of 4% per year on the value of those positions. Rewards accrue daily and are calculated based on the current value of your holdings.
- Rate: 4% APY (Annual Percentage Yield)
- Accrual: Calculated daily, applied to your position value
- No action needed: Just hold eligible positions — rewards are automatic
Eligible Markets
Not all markets qualify for holding rewards. To be eligible, a market must meet one of the following criteria:
Long-Term Markets
Markets with an end date at least 6 months in the future qualify automatically. These are typically:
- Presidential and general election markets
- Long-range economic forecasts
- Multi-year prediction markets
Political & Event Markets
Markets related to political events are eligible based on keywords, including:

Excluded Markets
The following market types are not eligible:
- Crypto 15-minute markets (Up or Down)
- Crypto 1-hour markets
- Crypto 24-hour / daily markets
- Any short-term crypto price markets
Viewing Your Rewards
Your holding rewards are displayed in two places:
Portfolio Tab
The Portfolio tab in the popup shows a Holding Rewards summary card with:
- Eligible Value — Total value of your qualifying positions
- Daily Estimate — Expected daily reward
- Monthly Estimate — Expected monthly reward
Position Badges
Positions that qualify for holding rewards show a 4% APY badge, so you can easily identify which of your holdings are earning rewards.

Rewards are estimated based on your current position values:

To maximize holding rewards, focus on long-term political and election markets. These consistently qualify for the 4% APY program.
